How to Use this url decode / encode site for Decoding ?
Step 1:
Copy your URL-encoded string and paste it into the input field Which displays Type (or paste) here... .
Step 2:
Select the Character set from the list of Source Character Set, if your are not sure don't select it will use UTF-8 as the default character set and most modern url encoding character set will be utf-8
Step 3:
If you have more than one url encoded strings , then Check the Checkbox of 'Decode each line separately (useful for when you have multiple entries)'.
Step 4:
If you want live URL decoding, ie the result box will be updated with the decoding results as you type in the input box then,Check the Checkbox of 'Encodes in real-time as you type or paste (supports only the UTF-8 character set).'.
If you don't want live mode, then go to Step5
Step 5:
To do the url decoding, if you have completed Step1,Step2 and Step3, then click on "Decode" button, The url decoding process will be done and the decoded text of your input url string will be displayed in the Result Text box which has previously displaying Result goes here...
Step 6:
Your decoded String is displayed in the second text area
How to Use this url decode / encode site for Encoding ?
Step 1:
Copy your input string which has to url encode and paste it into the input field Which displays Type (or paste) here... .
Step 2:
Select the Character set from the list of Destination Character Set, if your are not sure don't select it will use UTF-8 as the default character set and most modern url encoding character set will be utf-8
Step 3:
Select the Destination new line character, by default is LF( Unix)
Step 4:
If you have more than one strings to encode, then Check the Checkbox of 'Encode each line separately (useful for when you have multiple entries).
Step 5:
If you want to split into 76 Character wide, please check this
Step 6:
If you want live URL encoding, ie the result box will be updated with the encoding results as you type in the input box then,Check the Checkbox of 'Encodes in real-time as you type or paste (supports only the UTF-8 character set).'.
If you don't want live mode, then go to Step 7
Step 7:
To do the url encoding, if you have completed Step1,Step2, Step3 , Step 4 and Step 5, then click on "Encode" button, The url enoding process will be done and the encoded text of your input url string will be displayed in the Result Text box which has previously displaying Result goes here...
Step 8:
Your URL Encoded String is displayed in the second text area
